Flight Safety Academy
I just got offered a job with Flight Safety Academy in Vero Beach. They said I need to take a written test the first day and be able to teach to Multi PTS (Haven't flown multi's in about 2 years). I was wondering if anyone has ever worked there or has been a student there that would be able to give me some information about the hiring process or how things work there. They said I would be able to make my own schedule, and I just don't understand how this would work. Anyone care to chime in?

I did my CMEL, CSEL, & CFI there. I loved flying down there. Very professional. This was back in 2002-2003 time period and the instructors were getting about $14/hr.
If the student population is up then you should have no problem building a lot of multi time. You can fly a lot down there. I met a lot of nice people down there and still have connections to this day in other parts of our industry. It could be a great way to network for a year or two.
