Default Possible US Airways Hiring

Yesterday the Company published a Permanent Base Bid. The primary bid drivers are:

-Decrease 76I F/O lines due to schedule requirements
-Increase 319 staffing to support winter requirements: decrease lines with block hour decrease
-Additional 52 pilots to support schedule

These positions will be offered to remaining furloughs first, but assuming most will not accept, this could mean hiring at US in the near future.

Is that right? First year pay $25 an hour for the 757 but $41 for the E-190?

Everybody likes to talk a big game, but I guarantee their inbox will be flooded with applications.

Isn't that the truth! The fact is if you can keep yourself from getting emotionaly attached to the seniority debate, it isn't a bad place to work. The people here are for the most part are pleasure to work with. Could things be better? Of course they could. The way I see it, things will only improve.
