Any word on when Farkus will start Phase III? Interviewed at the end of November. Any word would be nice! Congrats Pizzaboy!

I think those are partially 767 replacements for weaker markets too, right? The 717s still have a lot of life in 'em.

Yep, just heard it, they are indeed 767 replacement / suppliment. Not 717, although if they chose to accept 318/19 to replace the 717, that is now also available assuming the airframes are up to the job.

the numbers the union gave us are...

1000 pilots by the end of 2017, and 58 retirements in the same period for anyone interested in hard estimates. Currently there are 615 on the Jan seniority list.

Coming from a fairly new hire so take it for what it's worth..But I have consistently heard somewhere in the ballpark of 70+/-. next year (this year)... Hawaiian has some things in the works so it MAY continue that way for quite a few years...

If any one is wondering, the job has been a blast.. many of the normalcies at Hawaiian would be typical senior stuff at other Legacies.... (schedule, equipment, time on reserve etc)

So far
