I met someone who interviewed last week and asked plans for future classes and was told all future planned classes have been filled. I don't know if they have a class planned now after the July 18th class. I don't expect them to call until they figure this all out. My prediction is the people that were hired the past 3 weeks will be swimming...after they find out, whenever that may be.

Anyone know any more information regarding this?

If they don't have class dates will they put people into a pool or will they just say "thanks, but no thanks" to everyone?

I asked about equipment. I have to bid for it first day of training. That's all the details I got about it. It would mean that there will be a choice.

There are classes that are planned. I don’t know if new hires will be placed in them or if still furloughed pilots will be in them. Guys who just interviewed will not likely go to PHX. So that being said even though there are new hire classes scheduled right now it doesn’t mean that any new hires will be in them. They could be filled with pilots headed west. If there are east slots open then new hires will most likely be placed in those slots.

Right now there are 2 classes on the calendar after the July 18 class.

If you recently interviewed and you must know the source of my info then PM me. This is under the assumption that you will not post or even allude to it out here.

Dont sweat. Very few have. Someone I know interviewed along the same time as you. His PRIA records have not been asked for yet.

There is only one guy coming back from furlough in the September 2011 bid. He's a pre-merger West guy who has accepted a East Group 2 position (CLT A320 F/O). All the other pilot vacancies in the 3 remaining classes will be new-hires.

The interviewees who have been offered the job will probably go to PHX for the two weeks of Basic Indoc, but they certianly won't be based there. The West has had only one recall bid earlier this year, and it is effective until the end of this year. As long as the West still has pilots on furlough, there will NOT be any new-hires that will be based in PHX.

That's one of the dumbest things I've heard this week. Please re-read my explanation in the paragraph above.

There ARE East slots open. You would know that already if you've seen any of the latest East permanent bid awards. Even so, I'll give you one guess where the new-hire pilots are going to be placed...

I'd love to know the "source" of your information, please share this double-super-secret information with us all! Looks to me like what you think you have is more like "mis-information". You have been sold a bill of goods that is very far from the actual truth. But what more should I expect from someone whose previous posts show a strong connection to mesa airlines?

I bet you’re a pleasure to fly with.

Furloughed pilots that are no longer current attend "New Hire Training". I am however very proud of you though. I am sure it took a lot of courage and determination to type out the word "dumbest".

While you are insulting me I still work at Mesa. That should give you plenty of ammunition so fire away.

There is enough room in currently scheduled new hire classes to possibly have some West slots but as of right now there are none.

I assure you that there is no misinformation in my post however I will give you the benefit of the doubt and not fire any insults your way.

I hope to join you and the other professionals at U.S. Airways soon. So could this be considered a truce? Or should you and I have an online war of words for 20 years or so. If yes I will have to decline because I really hate confrontation.

I don’t have a super secret source of anything. Just don’t think it would be professional to post his info or even allude to his identity here. I am not his spokesman and if he wanted his information posted in this thread he could sign up and post it here himself.

Have a nice day though.

All 4 rosters are blank right now.

Wow, you would think USAirways would want to give the new hires some notice so they can prepare.
