Slightly off topic, but I was curious if any of you had any thoughts about my situation.
I was offered an interview in May but had to postpone due to short notice (6 days) and not being able to get out of a 3 day trip with my current employer of 6 years=>(2 person corporate flight department) VX HR seemed very understanding and responsive to my request to delay, but had mentioned that there aren't any interviews scheduled for now. I would love to be a part of VX and I hope asking to delay the interview wasn't seen as tacky on my part. Do I still have a shot? Thanks in advance guys!

I've never worked in HR but I have interviewed at several airlines and it seems to me that they are well aware of the scheduling difficulties inherent to this industry and for the most part they are willing to work with individuals. That being said , it may be that you have migrated down the list a bit and will have to wait for others to get a call first. It probably would be a function of where you stand in terms of qualifications, and recommendations, against the other applicants.

Um, we don't wear hats. Ties either for that matter.

I'm in a similar situation, had to delay as well. HR advised that they would let me know just as soon as they schedule interviews again. I don't think that it reflects poorly on you. Here's to hoping that they begin scheduling again soon!

Drug test emails went out today for an interview group from the end of April. Anyone else hearing anything?

4K is the min to apply. I had ~4,500 (all military) when I applied. Everyone else in my interview group (all civilian) had considerably more than that.

Sorry if this was covered, but is the resume window open? I don't see the pilot position.
