buyer beware
Here is another online application that isn't secure, offers no privacy policy on their site about how they will/can use your info, and asks for information that could be used for identity theft.
I'd pass on this one.

Do a search for privacy policy on that site....it's not there. So the data is not secure AND they don't bother to tell you how they intent to use your personal information. They could legally sell your info to anyone or use it anyway they want without recourse.

Also, do a search at the DOT web site and see if you can find a application or issued operating certificate for "Airnow" or a DBA - "Airnow". I couldn't.
Again, I'd pass on this one.

I wrote the application form for AirNow a few years ago when I worked there. It is an e-mail form so it is just as secure as sending your resume in an e-mail (not very secure). The form does not require you to answer every question, so if there is anything you are not comfortable with answering, such as DL#, leave it blank or write available on request.

Get a grip
Good lord! Every site that is a start-up airline and ask for personal information is out to get ya! They want to steal your info so..so... they can steal your wives! And drive your car! And...mow your lawn.
https vs http? "https" is quite common. All US military sites use it.
