Times that pilots are currently hired?
I've been reading everything posted that I can find on the internet about pilot hiring. I have to say that I was surprised to hear all the negativity but such is life on the world wide web. (As you can see this is my first post and I've been a member for some time now)
For those with an active ear to the ground, I'd like to know what the hiring is looking like right now for low time pilots. I'm willing to do cargo at night, overseas, part 121 regional, photography, pipeline, anything. Is there a list of times that shows when people are getting hired.
Just trying to get an active flying job, with my current total time right at 700 hours (300 Multi). If anyone would be so kind as to point me in the right direction I would be in your debt. Feel free to PM me as well. Thank You!

With the new regulation coming into action next year (1500hrs ATP) for 121 gigs, I'd recommend get your times up ASAP and take the ATP written. Then apply everywhere once you hit 1000hrs. Right now a 1000 is the norm. Once we get closer to 1500hr reg the mins will go way up.

I have to wonder, "what's in it for me"? I've got the total time for ATP and I'm studying for the written now. I've got the FW time to take a practical this year. However, my total time is mostly RW. Again, like when I added ASEL and AMEL to my Commercial ticket, I will have under 300 hours in airplanes when I take my ATP checkride. I'll be able to beat the clock to be eligible for ATP, but will I be any more marketable with low time and an ATP?
