I want to fly out in the bush! I flew up in Alaska for 6 years and wouldn't trade it for anything else. Era is a great company full of great pilots and employees. I am sure there are cocky pilots that fly out in the bush but what company doesn't? Does Hageland have any 1900's on the cert or have they all moved to the Era side?

1900 pay on the 121 cert starts at a little over $2000 a month for the first 6 months and then goes to $43 per hour with a 60 hour guarantee. Spoke with a 1900 FO yesterday and she was flying 80+ hrs per month. Upgrades there are very long but it's an excellent stepping stone for an up and coming pilot.

[email protected] that's the only e-mail I know hopefully they can point you in the right direction. It might be worth mentioning although I am not sure if it has changed as this was 5 or 6 years ago but the pilots (for actual Era) use to work 3-3 schedules. This was back when the only did Kenai, Homer, Cordova, Bethel, Valdez, and Kodiak flights. Not sure if this has changed but they said you worked 12 hour days just to fly 3 as most of those flight are less than an hour. Hopefully that aspect has changed now that they have more 1900 and Dash 8 routes. Overall great airline and they really do keep it family oriented.

Are they trying to fill those the seats for all the "new" planes they got? When are they going on line?

Is the fax number or U.S. Mail the best way to get a resume to them from the lower 48? Thanks.
