Submitted my app and had an interview offer the same day. Pilot recruiter I talked with said next class is 22 Oct. Not burning any bridges but holding out for a while.

Seniority is everything. If you want to be here, take the first available class.

It's not that I don't want to take it. I'm active military not yet separated.

The interview from my experience is straight forward. Aeronautics for naval Aviators helps a bit. But make sure you go through the provided study guide thoroughly. Take a look at the Aviation Interviews websites and look at some of the experiences there, except for the simulators, its pretty straight on. Also, if you are familiar with Sheppair, use this link, its the best help I've seen thus far. http://www.sheppardair.com/ACs/Delta...ewFeedback.pdf

Best of luck!

The correct answer is 'Not at this time'. Our last DEC was about 12 years ago and is a captain in Dulles. With the number of qualified First Officers, it will be a very long time until we need to even consider the possibility of DECs again.
