Solar powered? Lol. I agree having almost 4000tt with such little night is a little ludicrous, but so it goes. I was bush flying mostly, and most of the strips we went to didn't have lights. Sometimes we would have a deadhead leg starting or ending at night, or night flights for charter or mx, but not a lot.

No ATP, and he didn't say anything about turbine time.

Yep no ATP, and although most of the multi is turbine, it's not PIC. And 2500 hours of single engine turbine isn't as helpful as one might like.

You need to meet ATP requirements day one in class now. You'll be issued an atp upon successful completion of your checkride.

Thanks, didn't know they were doing the ATP rides right away but I guess that certainly makes financial sense for them. I called them Monday morning and asked about the 75/25 loophole and they haven't come back to me yet. Probably no one has ever asked them this before...

First time I ever saw this was in Lemoore, CA at around 0100.
Thought I was seeing a UFO or something
I had no idea they did night time crop dusting. Crazy!

One of the main reasons they do some dusting at night is to keep from killing honey bees during the blooming stage. There are more reasons but that is a big one.

FWIW: If you receive your ATP during a training event at SkyWest it will be a restricted ATP (Circle in VMC conditions only).
