Which union represents GoJet? IBT 618?

Any more news at Gojet? I understand that they have stopped hiring entry level Captains. If that's the case, what's the upgrade time for a new hire FO?

If you are thinking of throwing around the scab word you should really do some research on what it means and how it applies.... I assume given your aircraft that your making big bucks flying a S340... Holding the bar up high I suppose..

And yes, family does come first.. But I can assure you that I've worked at very respectable companies that hold the bar high enough. And they have fed my wife and 2 kids well... But if it ever came down to it, and I had a choice between a company like GoJets, UI, or greeter at Walmart, I choose GJ....

But if ya want to use the scab word, if my company, who can be found on the Legacy section of APC, ever struck I most certainly wouldn't be crossing any lines... Or if my previous company, who is/was considered the best company on the Fractional section, had ever struck, I would have been standing side by side with my brothers in CMH.

Enjoy Evansville, Indiana or wherever else your heading this month.

Oh and go look up the meaning of the word scab... you can even Google it

Can someone please explain to me what all the flak against GoJet is about? Seems like this pilot group gets a disproportionate amount of negativity from others on this forum.

GoJet was started as a non-Union whipsaw airline in order to undercut the Union contract of another regional owned by the same company (Trans States?). That's where the animosity comes from.

Close. TSA did not negotiate an enforceable scope clause in their CBA that applied to the holding company and Hulas (who is a major prick), chose to go the other route and start a separate company. TSA guys then misplaced their anger toward GJ instead of looking in the mirror.

Saw a GoJet FO walking through the BTV airport at 9pm with his hat, scarf, and mirror aviators on. Maverick looked fairly awesome.
