That's a bunch of nonsense. No recruiter, HR person, or anyone at a Major cares about any of this squabbling among regionals.

Lucky Pierre is giving bad advice. GoJet is a United Jets for jobs carrier and they love the GoJet pilots. Not to mention, there are former Pinnacle, Eagle, Comair etc folks there. Great place to plug in and keep current while you are on the path.

Lucky is wrong and he knows it. There is not a thing negative GoJet will do to anyones career or resume.

Oh do tell!! Tell us where...please do. Tell us which carriers have a ban on GoJets pilots.

Not sure which profoundly ill-informed post to tag in the reply...it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

If you want a career in this industry, you should be obliged to educate yourself about the airmen who have come before you and the relationship between organized labor and management over many decades. Read Flying the Line Vols. I and II to start, and go from there.

Go Jet was created as an alter ego airline by Trans States to circumvent scope, basically because Trans States airlines' pilots were unwilling to fly larger aircraft for smaller aircrafts' rates.

There are well-informed individuals stationed at all echelons of the airline industry who are astutely aware of Go Jet's genesis and loathe any pilot who chooses to fly for them. If a new hire claims ignorance on the issue, that in itself is a commentary on that airmen's understanding of the industry.

If 2005 (Go Jet's inception) is too far back in aviation history for folks to consider, then I guess this industry is doomed.

Thanks for the lesson in aviation history...the point still stands, working for GoJet in 2013 is NOT going to stain ones reputation or hinder career progression. If you want to cry about why GoJet was formed so be it.
