Lucky Pierre is giving bad advice. GoJet is a United Jets for jobs carrier and they love the GoJet pilots. Not to mention, there are former Pinnacle, Eagle, Comair etc folks there. Great place to plug in and keep current while you are on the path.

Not sure which profoundly ill-informed post to tag in the reply...it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
If you want a career in this industry, you should be obliged to educate yourself about the airmen who have come before you and the relationship between organized labor and management over many decades. Read Flying the Line Vols. I and II to start, and go from there.
Go Jet was created as an alter ego airline by Trans States to circumvent scope, basically because Trans States airlines' pilots were unwilling to fly larger aircraft for smaller aircrafts' rates.
There are well-informed individuals stationed at all echelons of the airline industry who are astutely aware of Go Jet's genesis and loathe any pilot who chooses to fly for them. If a new hire claims ignorance on the issue, that in itself is a commentary on that airmen's understanding of the industry.
If 2005 (Go Jet's inception) is too far back in aviation history for folks to consider, then I guess this industry is doomed.
