Those are two different companies. ERA is the 121 operator....and hageland aviation is the 135 operator which has the 208 program. Hageland flies under the name Ravn connect. also...era, hageland, frontier and arctic circle air merged under a holding company called HOTH several years ago. Anyone wanting to know the scoop can pm me....i flew at hageland for 2 years. Just so everyone knows.....it is no longer ERA alaska....it has been renamed RAVN alaska.

Era pilots will still be employed.....those horizon pilots are going to **** their pants in the winter trying to land with a 40 knot crosswind in flat light or whiteout on an icy runway at fairbanks or out in bethel.

Pretty much everything in alaska pays well. I made 4000 for a 15 day shift in a 207 my first year. At a busy base guys pull in well over 5000 and in barrow it isn't uncommon for caravan guys to rake in 8000 a 15 day shift.
