Everts Air Cargo
Saw an ad on Climbto350 for Everts Air Cargo. Looking for DC-9/MD80 Captains/FO's. Also hiring into the DC-6 but it looks like the only are interested in typed DC-6 drivers. Does anyone have any info on this place? How many pilots out there are typed and current on a DC-6 ??

I guess they are still hiring, just saw another ad on the orange board. I bet they are having a hard time finding qualified DC-6 pilots and probably an even harder time finding MD80 guys willing to work for that pay. Anyone send a resume in??

On my last trip I got a chance to speak with one of their DC9 guys. He said the pay wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. His biggest complaint with the company seemed to be the schedule and training department. Apparently they have some goof ball CKA in there handing out multiple failures to guys because of personality differences. Sounds like a mom and pop 135 outfit to me..
All that aside, I'd still be interested in where they will have crew bases down south. I mean, if its 20 days on with just day trips, a base in the Midwest could work for me.

Word (from one of their captains) is they are bidding on Lower 48 contracts, just like NAC and Lynden (and, presumably, all the other freight companies). It's very competitive.
