When they repost ads like climbto350, without the employer's permission, they apparently only kill the 'to apply click here' button. The employer had asked multiple times to hav the ad removed, and was told it would be pulled, but yet it stays in the rotation. Apparently, they can get caught reposting jobs that don't exist if there's an email in the text.

Hello, I am the account manager for WFFF. I'm not quite sure that I understand your post correctly but I am under the impression that you are implying that we post jobs that do not exist. If that is the case I can tell you that what you are acusing us of is completely false! We have no desire to post any job that we believe to be incorrect or not truly exist. In fact we go through a process to ensure that all jobs posted are legitimate prior to allowing the employers to post on our job board. It would be unethical and bad business for us to post anything we did not believe to be accurate. Our members come to us usually because they have heard good things about us from current members and we take a lot of pride in that!

Employers can log into their account and remove job postings at any time. They do not need to contact us to have this done. We do allow our employers to re-post (refresh) jobs, however we only allow this once a month. We understand that after a job gets buried deeply on the job board that few members will go that far to see it. We also do not want to have a bunch of jobs reposted every day to make our postings look like something they are not.

If you have found a job posting that you believe is no longer valid I encourage you to contact us so that we can investigate the posting and have it removed should it no longer be valid.

Of course you have to come on here and defend the website. ;)Send me a PM and I'll give you details if you want.

I will say I did get a job off your website once, and I'm thankful for it, but there is absolutely no doubt that two times employers have told me you were posting jobs without their consent after they told you they had asked you to delete the postings.

Don't take it personally, it seems like you all do it.

It's a business like anything else, and thereby you'll find corruption and exploitation in some corners. Their staff does this for a living, and so it's understandable to some degree. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, though.

I've never paid to subscribe to these sites. Networking and good old-fashioned research are the best way to go.

PM sent. I am happy to hear that we have been able to help you find a job in the past and we look forward to helping you in the future!

We do take it personally! We know what the other job boards do and we aim to be different. To get grouped in with the others would be a failure on our part.

Yes, we are a business but corruption and exploitation is no way to run a business in our opinion. Our goal is simply to help our fellow pilots find and obtain jobs. We have helped thousands do just that. We are different than the most other job boards and we are very proud of that fact!

willflyforfood, not the best name for a website who cares. There is usually good and bad points to all these job websites.ppjn is useful for those across the atlantic but has recently reduced its free content.

I am a Registered Employer with climb to 350 for approx 10 years. I have had good experiences with them and have hired 5-6 pilots through them. They have not ever posted my ad without me initiating it and have made me be more specific with a couple of ads that I wanted to be more generic. In those cases they were working for the subscribers, not the employer. I don't feel it is a waste of time or money.

I had some dealings with a guy from Climbto350, what a buffoon. I will never renew my subscription or post another job on that site.

ALL of the pay to play job sites exploit pilots (and mechanics)

after reading this one can deduce that will fly is a place where you can actually get a job... Climbto350 is essentially a involuntary donation based pilot website.

I wish I would have tried willfly when I was looking for work and not orange.
