Default US Airways Application

So I applied to American, then a friend told me that US Airways still has it's own hiring process and I should apply to them also. I think I found their application website but I'm not sure? I went to US Airways website and searched "careers" which led me to a job search window. I entered pilot and it had one job listed, EMB-190 FO in Philadelphia. That link led me to an application (via careers.AA.com) which seems pretty much the same as all the others I have filled out ....except.....it specifically says I'm applying for an EMB-190 FO position in Philadelphia. That seems weird since none of the other airlines applications were specific to an airframe/location. Am I on the right application website for US Airways: my-profile :: AA Careers

Sounds like you are. In the recent months with the merger the web pages have changed quite a bit. On the careers page, be sure to select the US Airways link.

Believe thats the one. Did you access it here?https://usairways.greatjob.net/pub/usairways/index.html

Hope thats the one, since thats where I applied too. Although I don't remember it being the same site as the AA app.

Change 1, looks they updated the US Air app page. You are in the right place.

So is it really a specific aircraft/location I'm applying for? I have to believe that their process is the same as other airlines and I am just applying for a general First Officer position to any airframe/location?

It isn't necessarily a specific position/location you are applying for-- I say "necessarily" because it is possible you are awarded E-190 out of PHL. Everyone applies for that same position, then the first day of indoc you bid what you want/is available. For instance, in my new hire class of 14, there were 6 PHL E-190 guys, and the rest went DCA Airbus.

Has anyone successfully updated their resume on US Air's webpage? For some reason when I click view resume it has just a little bit of my resume and the rest is a garbled mess. I've tried to update it with a new word document but it will not let me add a resume document. Very frustrating, thinking I should maybe just start a new account? Been trying to fix it for the past year...

I was wondering the same thing. I have struggled with the same problems to update the resume. If anyone knows of a way to update the app online that would be very helpful!

Does anybody else have the problem that they get to a page that has a disclaimer about equal opportunity and when you select "I have read the above", nothing happens? I got an email from US Air saying they had received my resume/profile, but it isn't complete. Any ideas?
