Some of the questions FLYGRL wanted to know included: name, address, email, phone number. All this for a research project does sown kinda fishy. Knowing the weasel types in management at Horizon, they probably made up a user name to see who is on here and is willing to reveal the thruth about Horizonal

Any idea how long the furloughs will last? Does Horizon have a plan for getting rid of their CRJ's yet?

Didn't the QXTeamsters catch someone from Corporate posting on the union's BB posing as a pilot a few years back? My memory is a little hazy, I think it was a lady in PR.

Thank you again for the information you provided about Horizon. I apologize about asking for contact information. Part of the requirements for the interview is to get contact information from the people you interview. The class is an aviation careers class, so the main focus is finding aviation contacts you could possibly use in the future for networking. I do not work for Horizon. I am just a college student working on my commercial license. If you would like I can send you a copy of the term project, I will have it finished in a few days.

Nobody knows for sure but supposedly they expect the attrition number for 2009 to be somewhere in the 60 something range. If that is true everyone would be back by the end of the year We have sold 2 CRJ's so far, as for the remaining 18 who knows?

The 60 will probably be from the 69 being furloughed. Hooray 8 year upgrade!

Yea I would add at least 50% to that estimate. I would be it will be about a 12 year upgrade for most FO's now.
