Default Horizon loads

Can one of you good folks at Horizon tell me the loads for the flights from SEA-BLI tomorrow in the morning (23rd)? I'll be trying to j/s, but it's been a while. I assume also that QX is a CASS participant and that I can list at the gate? Thanks, a CAL pilot.

I'm not QX, but I ride on them a lot. They are in CASS and you list at the gate.

Story of my non-rev life: the flt I need has 0 seats. Haha. Is the Q jumpseat restricted on short flights like that, or is it worth trying for it? Thanks for the intel. Frats!

Not likely but possible, so I would say worth trying. Even flying in the mountains we rarely had weight restrictions. I just ran some simple numbers with an average empty weight, full load, 111 bags and full fuel and came up with a weight that was below max landing weight.

Empty Weight 32,000lbs
+74 pax X 190bs = 14,060
111 bags X 30lbs = 3,375
Fuel = 12,000
TOTAL = 61,435
MAX LANDING = 61,750
315 lbs to spare

Even if you had a 35,000 lb airplane and an alternate two hours away (2,200lb / hr fuel burn at 350kts!) you still wouldn't need 12,000 lbs of gas so I think they will have some room to spare, and they are probably not performance or climb limited either.

I'm so bored.

The Q is a machine. Lynx can take that thing in and out of Aspen full. its got a 20 kt tailwind limit at flaps 35 too. Great airplane for getting in and out of tight places. I miss flying it.

Thanks guys. That was one of the most detailed replies I've ever received. All hail the Q.
