Even if the TA passes, if you wan't to fly a jet don't come here until Feb 2017.
The Q400 seat lock is 4 years. You will never fly a jet here (nor will any of the current FOs) before that date.
Honestly you should just avoid Horizon altogether. We have a nice contract but we're about to give it up based on fear that we will get shut down if we don't. Alaska will see how weak the pilot group is and demand more concessions before finishing the jet order. It's never gonna stop.
Our contract will be pretty much the same as everyone else's now, except we fly old ****ty Q400s with ****ty 10 hour overnights 8+ legs a day coming soon.
If you want to fly jets in the PNW, go to Skywest or Compass. good luck.

It's not a bad place, if you want to fly in the PNW. Looks like upgrade time will drop to ~2 years or whoever has the required time. Probably stay right around that. Pretty decent pay and better work rules than other regionals in the game. So, if you play the regional game, not a bad place. Just do your research and know what you are getting into
