Thinking about JetBlue?
With 3,360 pilots, almost no retirements, compensation about 40% less than industry standard, terrible vacation allotment, terrible insurance, terrible work rules and a 2+ years of negotiations that has not produced an agreement to improve any of this, we just had a quarterly award for 3 new captains.

Where do you see yourself in five years? At JetBlue, it'll look exactly like it does right now.
Choose carefully.

I've stopped recommending people and tell friends asking about JetBlue to look elsewhere. The only person this works for is someone in New England who doesn't want to commute and wants BOS, then fine. ANY other base, or commuter, go to Delta. No-brainer not even close. Upgrade to bus weekend off lineholder in BOS looking like 15 years soon. Embraer was 4 to captain, no movement anymore so pretty much plan on being a forever FO while your friends hold check airman lines on 767 or lineholder captains on 717 after a few years.
Oh yeah...not to mention retirement/profit sharing/pay.

It's stupid. What does it show? The sept bid in 2017 was less than the sept bid in 2016. Oh no! The sky is falling. Look at the chart, see the line, it's going down by a lot! Compare years, or do a chart with all the system bids for the last 3 years. Let's just compare 3 bids and ignore the other 9 during the same time frame.
