Default Travel + Leisure names JetBlue World's Best Domestic Airline

JetBlue is the "Best Domestic Airline for Value" in the magazine's March edition. Singapore Airlines was named Best International Airline for Value.

Congratulations to Singapore, no surprise for JetBlue. We are simply the best.

Quiet confidence always impressed me a hell of a lot more than statements like "we are simply the best"...

When egos (management's and frontline employee's) get too big, things start to crumble. American, United, TWA, Eastern, Pan Am were all "simply the best" at one point or the other.

I'm sure there are some folks who sat on your aircraft a few weeks back that would beg to differ.

Actually, since then not one flight goes by without some customer telling us just that - 'we are still the best' despite all the media voodoo.

I won't deny that Jetblue probably offers the best product out there when it comes to commercial airlines. However in this day and age, it doesn't seem like that takes very much to top the competition... I've travelled on JB twice, both on coast to coast round trips. While I found the flights comfortable, and the people nice, it was still airline travel.

I guess that after 8 years in the industry, and two flying corporate it takes a lot to impress me (or surprise me) any more.

Well, if that's the case, then pay the money for EOS, or MaxJets, or one of those SPA type airlines. I guess the average R/T ticket is around $4k.
