Default JB slowing growth, more aircraft deferrals.

Just as the thread title says, more deferred airbuses and slowing growth for 2017-2018-2019.

Be warned, this is what they always do. At least we have no pilot retirements and one of the worst contracts in the business.

You sure they're slowing growth?

Not saying they're not, but as I wrote in another thread, it's possible they're deferring the 321s because those were intended to be the LRs, and after reviewing the data, maybe they're not confident in that aircraft doing what it was suppose to do.....

I get you're angry at JB, and this kind of info feeds your narrative, but it's not necessarily the case...

We can speculate all day long. We talk about what you think might/could/possibly happen.

All I KNOW is what they announce to Wall Street and the world. Deal in hypotheticals all you want, I am telling you the FACTS as they are known today.

Spinning a deferral into a positive is quite amazing, can't say I'm surprised on this website though.

Wish in one hand and **** in the other f-teen. See which one fills up first.

Hope is not something to build career decisions on. If people have multiple options they are fools to not go somewhere else. Retirements aren't hope. They are real numbers!

If I remember correctly we had planned to convert current 321 orders to possible LR orders. We never made additional orders of LR's on top of our current order sheet. These are regular deferrals of aircraft. We will still be growing but at a slower pace today than our order book predicted yesterday. It's disappointing. Hopefully it's a move to make room for a widebody purchase but that's just speculation. It's a move to slow growth and appease Wall Street. It seems to be working so far as our stock is up 75 cents.

Point is, no one knows why they're deferred.....

Bluedriver put out one narrative...popular with the sky is falling crowd.

I offered another. Either is feasible. Could be neither.

But the bottom line no one knows why, but people will interpret the move based on the agenda they're trying to propagate..

That sentence segment says it all. This entire thread is speculation....including my post....which was made on purpose to show both sides of the story.....

It's not speculation that we deferred aircraft today and slowed growth.
