One daily roundtrip pre cancelled for the rest of the summer. Unbelievable. This is getting scary. Sitting at the bottom of this list is a roller coaster ride for sure.

Scary? Are u kidding me? Lol... you're in the wrong industry.

Watch the problems magically solve themselves once an industry standard contract is signed.[/QUOTE]

The problems have consistently been there for years, but now there's less Blue Goo covering it up.

Something is brewing...

How do you add new routes and destinations without taking the additional aircraft you need to operate them? ATL. Cuba. The 190 is a big part of the reason things aren't being executed. They're obviously done with it. I think you'll see a sale or merger announcement soon, and if not, then an E2 announcement is coming or we're going to an ALL Airbus fleet.

We've been getting additional aircraft. If you haven't noticed we have a crap ton of 321s. Look at JFK at any given day...

Unless you picked JetBlue over Delta you will be fine man. This stuff happens at every airline. They get cheap and think they can get by and bam they get screwed. Sometimes that is a good thing because it can cause good changes. We will get through it, every airline has meltdowns but we work here so it hurts. I think most guys want JetBlue to be a great airline and the union is working hard to get a great contract. What we are seeing is when theory hits reality.

Close doors? Not likely, but furlough is definitely a possibility.

Easy on the F bombs. We are the opposite of furlough right now. We need more frontline employees than we have so mgmt is cutting routes to alleviate some of the problems.

This analysis sounds reasonable. Wouldn't surprise me if you see a replacement E2 order because Embraer is desperate for an order for this new version. Still would love to see a CSeries in JB colors... :)

Should just merge with Alaska and get it over with. You know it's bound to happen sooner or later. Same cheapass management too. It's a no brainer. Would love to get some real west coast bases.

Not to be a downer but ask the 10-15 year guys/gals. B6 has had one trajectory and its been down. In 10 years I haven't seen any improvements. Nothing but losses and takeaways. CBA or not, we're always gonna be the Cleveland Browns of airlines.
Tell that to any successful mgmt/business person that we're cutting routes to alleviate problems. Say it again. We're cutting flights in the most prosperous times of 121. Of course they're not cutting the middle mgmt jobs we all know need to be cut

What's more criminal is the majority of flights they are cutting are daytime, domestic flights. I can think of several other cities and redeyes they could have cut.
