Default What Is Going On?

Something is up for sure. Management says we're in a great position, no new hiring needed, adding new destinations, NOT taking additional aircraft deliveries and now cancelling existing routes from the system?

We're getting set up for something. I see a merger or sale on the horizon. Things are certainly strange. Q2 earning are going to be the "Big Tell" at what lies in the future for B6. Record profits means this place is already sold. Hold on to your CSPP and hope for the best.

Jfk - TPA
Jfk - SDQ
BOS - RSW
Bos - tpa
Bos - mco

One daily roundtrip pre cancelled for the rest of the summer. Unbelievable. This is getting scary. Sitting at the bottom of this list is a roller coaster ride for sure.

B6 has been on the radar of many suitors for quite some time. The question is which suitor will win in the end. I think WN could easily win.

I doubt WN wants an a$$load of Airbii.

My guess would be AA. They'd probably love to grab all those Buses and swallow another competitor on the east coast/Caribbean routes.

Was about to post the same thread. Everyday my B6 commute flight from ORD is CX'd. Flying with reserves that are getting JA'd. Waiting for ACs to come from the hanger for MX all the time. It's really strange. It's like they're trying to run it into the ground. Sorry but CX'ing a bunch a flight segments for the entire summer is a really bad sign.

My guess is that some college intern came up with this great(sarcasm) idea to cancel routes to help with staffing, instead of you know just hiring more guys. But am I worried that the place will close it's doors soon, no. It's not good , it's not bad, it's just another day in the life of a poorly managed airline .

Close doors? Not likely, but furlough is definitely a possibility.

So we are short pilots and you think furloughs?
Let's all relax a little. They tried to run super short and cut the mx budget and bam you have a daily irop.
This is standard jetblue things work on paper like otp or 35 min turns but in reality well you know.

I'm sorry but we are far away from the F word.
And no we are not going to close the doors.
But if we do some of you might have some great careers in acting because the drama acting has been perfected on here.

Once again they thought they could get away with something, think the last union vote or anything they have done and it simply does not work. But the company is making more money now than ever so we are far from closing the doors.

Now a merger or a big clean out of mgt might just happen.

Something needs to happen because right now we are not doing so great.

Sadly this is most likely the case. Not the closing the doors part. Just the poorly run part.
