Although lately I would say APC has passed BP in total negativity (yes yes it presents a realistic picture of the hell on earth that is JetBlue) :)

BP is like crack that doesn't show up on drug test. Beware.

Just trying to provide a service to those guys out there who are thinking of coming to JB and don't have the opportunity to read BP and see how bad things are here.

Maybe someday we will have good things to say about this place but for now this forum is a service to our fellow pilots who have been sold the #keepsgettingbetter bullsh!t that hyper and southie spew.

Well, count me in as well, then. I came from the same regional as ATR and I can unequivocally say I’d rather go back to my old regional than stay here. It been nothing but disappointment from pretty much day 1.

IF......IF it were still around and growing. Evidently our work rules, pay, vacation were just too out of line with the rest of the $hitbag regional operators out there.

My paycheck may be marginally better, but everything else is worse. Including the cultish juicers.

Then why the hell are you still here? You're not a slave to this place. They don't own you. Lot's of tough talk, but hey good news, the door is wide open for you! Tons of hiring bonuses and quick upgrades at places like SkyWest, Mesa and the like. I'm sure if you apply with your qualifications you'd get a call same day! Good luck on your future endeavors!

Sorry for the grumpy response - my over 15:30 scheduled duty period from yesterday has me not in the best mood.

While I don’t share the same sentiment as coopervane, I’m ex-XJT as well, this response must be from a non-pilot. That’s the only way I could think someone would say just go back to your old regional. You must not understand how this industry works. Do you understand how seniority works?

I agree with everything cooper says except that I wish I could go back. I do not wish that. But outside of actual compensation, almost every work rule at legacy XJT was superior to here.

Evidently comprehension is not your strong suit.

Why would I want to go to a place like SkyWest, Mesa and the like? Those places are worse than Jetblew.

Hey my job sucks, I hate my life here, I wish I was somewhere else, but ya know...seniority. There are plenty of pilots who left aviation entirely because they were sick of it and got into different industries. A seniority number didn't stop them from moving on with their lives.

So if you're so damn miserable, go fly 91 or 135. Plenty of non 121 jobs that pay well enough to start, especially now and you won't have to worry about seniority, either present, or lost seniority at XJT. All the Charter and Frac pilots are leaving for the airlines and those places are hurting for pilots. There's plenty of options out there. I was miserable at previous job I had and guess what, **** seniority, I left, because life is too short to be miserable all the time.

Not sure what's worse......your reading comprehension, or the fact that you are blissfully unaware that there was a regional airline out there with better work rules, scheduling, hotels, etc etc etc than JB.

But you'd rather shoot the messenger than accept the fact that JB is severely lacking and needs major improvements ASAP. You and hyper think it just #keepsgettingbetter, but there are regionals out there with better, well, everything (except for rates, but if a regional has better rates than an airbus operator there's a whole new can of worms to open).

Not all of us came from dirtbag bottom feeder regionals. Some of us know better. Please know your worth or maybe YOU should go elsewhere.

You are foolish to ever put your real name for any online form of social media. Remember, there are hundreds of companies that are indexing, spidering, crawling, and forever storing everything ever said. Have you ever tried getting a security clearance? That'll give you an idea of what commercial entities are capable of. Sites like jblupilots.com have no way to shield you against companies like Google, Facebook, even credit reporting companies (e.g. Experian) from associating your speech with your name. They do not have the legal or technological capability to do so.


Anything can always be used against you by future employers, current employers, or even the FAA or law enforcement. If you make some harmless hyperbolic remark like "hope an electrical fire never happens to me" can come back and haunt you 10 years later when your job is on the line and BJ pulls out your posting implying sabotage or some other ludicrous explanation.



All these social media platforms will attempt to brainwash you into their systems through clever marketing. Be "part of our community". Talk with "friends". We have a strict "privacy policy". None of that legally means anything. If you want to be part of a community, make real life friends that you talk to face to face or via secure communications, not insecure systems. There is no guarantee that what you say today will not be considered something bad in the future (e.g. terrorist, insubordinate, threatening, sexist, racist, or other thought crime).



Don't believe anything I say. Go research yourself using any search engine of your choice. Even the craziest things have happened historically. Employers asking for Facebook logins, employers scouring your Facebook postings, unions getting sued over postings, online activity used in criminal court cases, ex-wives/ex-girlfriends using your prior postings to get you fired, etc.... Only the most ignorant and naive will disagree with history.
