You mean like getting to a real airline bunk? Or is it Defender F16? 😎.
I'm jkg- but let's be honest about this dishonest company. The fact is that the little helpers are what is preventing a timely CBA- do you see that? Or are you one of them? Serious question if you have the stones to answer Bunk.

How do you see multiple bases reserve grid? I can only see the base I'm in. So you're either in management or something I guess.

Hey brother...you want to be angry, you're certainly entitled to do so.....the company has given you tons of reasons to be ****ed off....I get it.....

Where we disagree is how we choose to deal with that anger.....I'm not going to be angry and any pilot who chooses to pick up any additional flying under any circumstances....I'm just not. I talk with guys about RSAs and how that hurts us with manning, but you know what, I'm pretty sure my talk isn't going to sway anyone one way or another. Young guys, maybe. But for the most part...not a damn bit a difference... I say what I have to say and move on.....

To answer your question......that depends on what you consider a "little helper"......I've never picked up an RSA. I have put in for VDAs, and flown a few that were to my benefit......VDA pay plus trips bought later in the month is usually what happens....

I'm pretty involved in the union.....P2P guy....on a committee voted by the MEC/LEC......so I sleep well at night knowing that I'm doing as much as I possibly can for this pilot group to ensure we get the best contract we possibly can as quickly as we can......

But what I'm not going to do is brow-beat guys who have different opinions as me, who act differently than I do or differently than I wish they did.....life's too short, man.......

We're going to get that contract and it's going to be a good one....I have zero doubt of that.......and until that day comes, I'm going to enjoy flying the the bubbas up front with me, have a few drinks on layovers, talk politics way too much and sports way to little.....then go home and kiss my kids and wife and enjoy the time I have with them.....

See ya in Boston on the 20th I hope......send me a PM and I'll buy your first beer there.

Cheers.

I am right there with you. I don't get mad at people on the line with picking up rsa's but on here I'll tell people that I think it hurts us getting a cba sooner. It's the exact same thing I tell people on the line. Not mean about it. Just sorta matter of fact. I honestly don't think that people admit to it on the line.

Sounds good bunk. Im with ya on most of this sentiment.
I like the guys I fly with and I understand guys making extra $$, however, when they do that they are sacrificing their future earnings and QOL for a short term gain. Its shortsighted and Im on the money with this assessment- I hope you see that too.
I appreciate the optimism from you and some others here, but I do not share it- While this airline is allowed to operate on minimal staffing and pilot "good will", it has zero incentive to agree on any pay raise or expenditure. They will have to feel pain in order to change, like any organism. Tty 16.

I have never requested an RSA but I'm thinking that I might just start requesting them because guys keep TALKING ABOUT THEM online.

When asked, I'll just say that until the guys online stop posting about RSAs (as has been requested over and over by our union), I'm going to keep picking them up.
