Contract Rally Sept 20

In fact, it will only push a cba farther away. Just look at spirit. It's an illegal job action for you to suggest it Bozo. B6ALPA and this pilot group have done nothing but step correct to the company and the NMB. Please don't ruin it with your juvenile thinking and intimidation.
Get a grip.
People can pick up anything they want, and we can have any opinion we want about it.

I'm not defending B6. I'm defending fellow pilots who are taking advantage of a F-d up system bestowed upon them the best they can until we get our contract. Stop trying to conflate someone doing something you don't like, with supporting the company.

Bunk,
That's Bozo's point. If guys were not picking up VDA and RSA they'd see that their W2's are sadly reflective of a regular effort.
The problem is more than just guys helping out and pitching in; its part of the culture that the company was founded upon. The company was born in a pretty $hittay period of airline and world history. Triggering premium pay rates at 70 hours meant working above and beyond was how it was done. That was also because the industry was bankrupt and the poor hourly wage, even at 1.5 times, was just about paying the bills. That's not the point. The point being that the company and pilots has always relied upon and planned upon pilots working above and beyond.
We'll get our CBA and Bozo is hardly suggesting anything illegal in regards to unauthorized job action. It's a personal choice to help out and pick up.

I should have been more clear. I was simply talking and should have referenced his point that big airline even with "proper staffing" have this type of thing.
Heres a little secret for you Bunk- The "big boys" have decent contracts and are real airlines unlike the 3/4ths of an airline we work for.
But for the record I have never picked up an RSA and agree we shouldn't be doing it.
I'll try to me more clear next time.

Totally agree. Especially about how these "habbits" started and the history of the company. That's a big deal we are changing how the company interacts with its pilots.
