So if we get an industry standard contract you still think we won't get qualified guys? Honestly there really isn't a point to do this with you. Yeah few will come here the growth will slow even further which will make nobody apply here so we will probably furlough.....we are all doomed. Update those apps guys.
Those guys place SO much of their happiness in the almighty dollar, and spend SO much time looking over the fence. Man that grass sure is green! |

When you have to spend 3-5 days a month away from family to make less and have garbage Health insurance and no movement... Then yes, its much greener at a real airline with a real CBA. I like the guys I fly with too South but they dont help with my mortgage- will you? Hope you're well:) |

(But I don’t derive my happiness from my place of work.) |
A year and a half from Delta interview?!?!? What a different world we live in. Hang in there. Big D is waiting with your safety blanket, binki and full $6mil pension. Don’t worry, they’ve never not hired anyone with a guaranteed interview and they’ve NEVER defaulted on MILLIOMS OF $ in pension guarantees. So, keep on your year and a half HOPE AND CHANGE strategy.
Seriously? Airbus and Bombardier Announce C Series Partnership -Bubs |

Management is paid like their legacy counterparts. We are expected to be the most productive pilot group with an industry lagging contract. Management is fine with this but we should not be. Too many juicers allowing this by supporting or ignoring it. Glad youre okay with all of it South. |

I have a 4 year degree in aviation, military flight time, 121 TPIC and a guaranteed interview with Delta in a year and a half. I feel like I have a great shot anywhere once I build my total time. Currently only at 2300 hrs. I'm by no means deserving and fully plan to work my tail off to get somewhere. I can tell you that jetBlue still looks attractive. Especially if they are on track for a new CBA. Its not always about the biggest paycheck. As nice as that would be it is a huge downside looking at a commute the rest of my career.
Good for you. There are plenty who agree that it isn’t always about the paycheck. Good luck. |

Me too- but the fact is that we are underpaid and underinsured.

We’ve expressed our displeasure, and the process is in motion for a CBA. I’m a dues paying member, and I submit my surveys for the negotiations. I want a good contract, and I’m really looking forward to the CBA. But I’m not leaving. There are too many horror stories of people who constantly leave companies to chase a buck, and end up screwing themselves. |
