According to the our leadership JetBlue is not expecting increase in pilot cost in 2018. If that's not a clear indication of what this company thinks of its pilots, I am not sure what is.

Spirit guy here, our management said the exact same thing Summer of 17. And look, they were right.

2018 CASM guidance does not include increased pilot costs. It can't, because they don't know what the cost of a possible contract would be. If a contract is signed, 2018 CASM guidance will be updated, just like forward guidance is always updated after any major business development.
There are plenty of other clear indications of how poorly the company thinks of its pilots but this is not one of them.

Maybe pilots will finally get smart about how the world really works. I'm constantly amazed out how pacified, ignorant, low-standard, and naive BlueJet pilots are.

Hope you all enjoy your dumpster diving. Being forced to clean the airplane is the only contract you have.

Only results matter.

Too bad you're not angry enough to get respect from management.

You’re right I regret coming to this low cost airline with pilots that don’t even know what respect means for their job, it’s embarrasing !!!

What is really sad is when I see FOs Doing stand ups, not wearing a lanyard and trying to clean the plane when a passenger is on board. Then has the balls to ask me to go get a wheelchair for the passenger. I laughed and told him he can if he really wants to. (He wasn't trying to catch a commute or anything, saw him sitting in the crew room for an hour or so waiting on his next flight)
