Better trip rig/min daily credit needs to be in the JCBA |

Dont worry, ours are all packaged neatly in a 4day/20hr trip where you fly some incredibly productive day turn on Day 1, layover at hotel in base, then fly the crap 3day after.

Do the math on a 1/3 TAFB rig. Would solve both the pay productivity and commutability issues simultaneously. Um commutable trips would pay a lot for locals and also give financial incentives to build many commutable trips for commuters. All in one simple TAFB rig.

Agree and I hope we get it, the problem is everyone in the industry is at 3.5/1. Not impossible, but gets more difficult to negotiate.
https://i.postimg.cc/ydSTsTtY/IMG-5978.jpg Even a 1/3.25 would be a step in the right direction. I just think this would be such a pay/QOL silver bullet that it should warrant a big push and an incremental improvement from current. |

Industry standard was 5 hours per day. ADG, and that's gone up.

The CBA is crystal clear on this subject: it's first-come, first-serve--period. It doesn't specify any exceptions or modifiers regarding what methods or means a pilot uses to be "the first."
If the company dips their toe into defining what methods are "acceptable" vs. "not acceptable" re: picking up trips on Flica, they're going to end up spending hundreds of hours of time and effort (and thus money) refereeing disputes between individual pilots who are using various methods to gain a temporal edge. I've never used a bot in my life, nor would I ever (too afraid of being accused of lacking integrity and getting into trouble). But I completely understand why the company is staying out of the weeds on this subject, especially when they don't even own the IT infrastructure on which any of these transactions take place. |
