The only real issue I have with Irv’s site is that it was supposed to be real names only. I think that makes sense for that site, but he allows half a dozen people to post under other names. If most people have to use their real names, everyone should have to use real names.

It is VERY concerning at times.

Not to get into a whole big thing, but, the country has gone so far left that people in the middle are now far right. Don’t hate.

Not surprised you see it that way. In reality, most of the citizens are on the spectrum somewhere in the middle, middle-left, middle-right. But there is also too many who have been radicalized to the far left and far right.

If you can't see that big picture, you should now know where you fit in.

I get what you’re saying. Entrenchment of opinions. What I don’t like is canceling. No matter how stupid.

I have a sneaking suspicion you’re not nearly as “in the middle” as you think you are. :p

That said, and the main point is, who cares. You’re allowed to be left, right, center, upside down… just don’t be a d**k and don’t keep talking about it when I ask politely not to discuss politics on the flight deck. It’s not nearly as big a deal as people like to make it.

You are right the majority of the country is in the middle that’s why you see a constant swing left and right.

I guarantee you if you took a group of 20 regular Americans and put them in a room and said come up with a plan to fix our problems they would do better than any political group because they would actually be interested in solutions.
