When I’m in MSY I usually take a class at the New Orleans school of cooking - open Bloody Mary bar and free flowing keg of Abita by the way.

Sometimes I go out and sometimes I don’t. And now as CA I don’t agree with the expectation that I’m supposed to be director of the fun committee. Each situation is unique. I see nothing wrong with hanging with the crew as long as you quit drinking before you quit thinking.


Now maybe if they wrote a few papers about safety and could discuss at length how bad the lodge food is for you, maybe you would change your mind? :)

Now many (not all) BlueJet's "horrible 100" might be a different story...

Been saying this for years. Watched my last sim partner order a burger at lunch. Was going to get one. Cook - let’s be honest these guys aren’t chefs - pulled a patty from freezer and threw it on grill. Looked brown. Hey, did you guys cook the patties THEN freeze them THEN just throw it on grill? Yep. So you’re basically just warming a previously cooked frozen burger. It’s McDonalds thin. Pure culinary laziness. Will cook fresh in 4 min. Why not just microwave it instead of faking a cooked burger? I’ll have a salad.

Sunday - roasted chicken
Monday - chicken enchiladas
Tuesday - Tortilla soup with chicken.

Hey are you guys rolling over chicken from the day before?.. Three day old chicken? No.
BS. Worked in restaurants. Cook as a hobby. The Lodge is pure “crack open the can from SYSCO” and heat it up. Food at Applebee’s would likely be better.

But you bring up a great point about lots of places. A buger for me anyway 80/20 a little salt pepper, I like a thin smashed type burger quick cook cheese and a potato roll and done. Like 5 mins max. And all these hotels/lodge/restaurants pull out the frozen crap.
