Sorry to beat a dead horse
I live 5 minutes from LGB even learned to fly there and for that reason jetblue is high on my list. Is it really not worth the effort? Any idea what the most juinor FO in LGB is? I dont care if it takes for ever to upgrade I'd just love to be that close to base. I have a ERJ190 type even though im pretty sure they done use the 190 in LGB. Would it just be better to go with someone based in LAX, its about a 30 min drive without traffic, 1 or 2 hours with traffic.
Thanks

Honest opinion.....
I really like working here. Yes, it drives me nuts and our management is frustrating. But, overall, I'm really happy here and have a positive outlook.
That said, coming here is the wrong choice for you unless you are prepared for an East coast commute. You can do so much better on the West coast. UAL/AA/SWA/DL is a better choice for a west Coast based person. Our west coast footing is shaky to say the least (unless we merge, and you can't plan your future based on a maybe.)
Good luck in whatever you choose.

I was stuck on the 190 in BOS for exactly two years, got LGB 320 FO and have held a line every month but one in that seat. March 2015 hire. They keep adding folks below me on the list as senior FO’s bite the bullet and take upgrade in BOS or JFK.
Sometimes you just have to roll the dice. Get the job, and THEN turn it down or quit. It’s a good gig.

Call it 20 easy, and likely more if more LGB FO's take upgrade on the east coast.
