Well eatittom... I live in base and I can afford my mortgage just fine without the “incentive pay” so your reasoning doesn’t work for me. However, go ahead and defend the company and go against the CBA that 74% voted in and keep helping out! Hey, it works for you... absolutely selfish and disgusting

Boy, this is a swing and a miss!! You might want to re-read his post and try to properly understand what it is he is saying.

Read the last paragraph of his post 360 and maybe YOU might get it. Hang around a few more years junior, someday I hope you understand. Until then , open your eyes and carry on

He's saying that he can understand why someone living in a more expensive location might be willing to pick up the (illegal, but not really) premium pay. Are you saying you don't understand that?

It should never matter where you live, to screw over YOUR union brothers and sisters is unacceptable. Am I making myself clear now?

By that logic you can understand why someone would cross a picket line and become a scab...gotta pay the bills right? No. While not on the same level, both are examples of being selfish and screwing your union brothers, and yourself, in the long run.

What do you mean by, “not really illegal?” It’s in violation of the CBA!

MY "union brothers" (you forgot all the other genders!!) have never given two $hits about me. Or you. In fact, YOU have never cared enough to do ME any favors.

Is that clear enough for you?

Go back and read his post. What JB is doing is no more illegal than you not paying your mortgage. Sure, there are consequences, if the law gets a chance to weigh in. Let's see what the end result is from the grievances. I predict....

I can understand why some might do it. Personally, I would not. But not everyone has the intestinal fortitude that I do. I also would refuse to pick up a VDA during contract negotiations. But does that mean everyone operated that way? No. (Didnt we even have an ALPA rep doing this before the contract? A rumor I heard...)

James, I KNOW you're smarter than to think that your so-called "union brothers" care whether you prosper or fail. #falsenarrative
