Seat forward, vents open, shades up, headsets plugged in, trash removed. Surprised your captains don’t say anything to you about it.

All correct except shades down day or night, winter and summer. Straight from the training center in Toulouse.

What’s the captain gonna say, plug your headsets back in? I have no problem if he wants to do it but I won’t be. My job is the fcom, fom and that blue employee book thing. Plugging the ship set back in isn’t outlined in either of those, is it?

It comes from common courtesy. You use it you put it back where you found it. You unplugged it, you plug it back it. Simple stuff we all were taught in kindergarten.

Zulu is the person at the gym who leaves his dumbbells laying all over the floor because “I pay $35 dollars a month for the employees to clean it up.”

We will just have to agree to disagree. What about the guys who bring their own? Why do the guys who use the crusty ship set have to have theirs all set up. Why can’t everyone just wrap them up and leave them in the cubby by the plug? BFD right?

Absolutely incorrect. I would never do that. Besides I only do 90m bikram yoga classes. Need to stay lean and limber for the bus.

Because the headset is a part of the airplane. No different than any other part. The trainers at the factory train as James pointed out: seats forward, trash removed, vents open, headsets plugged in and hung on their respective hooks, shades down and if chocked, parking brake off.

He’s more like the type who puts a bunch of 45 lb plates on the leg press machine and then leaves them on there for the 100 lb girl who uses it next to remove before doing her workout.

Zulu, when you leave someone’s house, do you just leave the door open? If the person wants the door shut, they can just close it themself.

Not sure if It’s being selfish or just lazy. Either way, it’s all about you, so no one here will change your mind.

I don’t work for airbus I work for JetBlue and follow what our training department has taught. I have never once seen someone leave the parking brake off at the gate while chocked.

Of course not but if I got to someone’s house I also don’t wash the plate and put it back on the table the way it was served to me. I put it in the sink or rinse it and place it in the dishwasher.

Hilarious how guys get so bent out of shape about the head sets being set back up. Get over yourselves. It’s not like I am arguing that they should be placed in the gear pin locker. You need to build your nest and check everything out anyway. Who is really being lazy? Too lazy to unwrap the cord and plug in the set if you need it? Jeez.
