Airbus Headsets
For the Airbus pilots:
Do you recommend using the headsets in the plane or bringing your own? If you bring your own, where did you get the adapter? Thanks in advance. L |
I got the Bose QC-25 with the Ufly-Mike set up. Works very well.

Use the ship set?
Yuck! Literally. As a new hire, I'm not sure what you can afford. But until you can spend between $200 (Telex 750) and $400 (A8 ANR) bring some disinfectant wipes for the mic cover and the ear covers. Yuck! Have you seen our pilots? We had one fired for buying something on the street corner from a guy who knows a guy for some skank he wanted to play with and then 5 minutes later you are swapping seats and wearing this person gear! No way. |
I got a somewhat cheap telex 850 on eBay and then amazon for the UFQ adapter. It works fine in the bus for me and it’s comfortable. But then again I wouldn’t know cause I’m going deaf anyway.

I've never used a shipset in any A/C I've flown because it's disgusting. It's one thing to have to grab levers, control wheels/push buttons, but having a mic up to you lips that other guys just coughed,sneezed or did whatever on is beyond gross. |
QC35 paired with the Nflightmic. Love the setup! Super quiet and clean. You can get the Nflightmic with the airbus cord.
