Delta pilots will say how superior their company is with great examples. United will flaunt how many wide bodies they have. AA will say they’re too big to fail. WN will talk about culture and profitability, JetBlue about their product, spirit and frontier about the ULCC dominance and growth.

Really we are all just hoping those things catch on and our livelihood is protected for however many years we have left. With how things swing we really just don’t know. Belittling other companies or their pilots is ignorant at best since we really don’t know what will happen in a few months. I for one would have never guessed JetBlue would be interested in such a different product.

I completely agree with your post. The reason you are seeing some snarky posts is because of what MANY guys are writing in the Frontier forum, which I'm guessing you haven't been reading?

Over there it's JB is irrelevant, desperate and gonna fail any day now while they are gonna be the biggest airline in the country in 24 months because of the ULCC model... I'm condensing hundreds of posts into a sentence, but you get the idea.

On this forum we don't pontificate on the immediate demise of the ULCC model while saying JB is gonna put everyone else out of business.

But yes, most of us are just along for the ride and nothing more than fellow airmen...

Everyone including investors know that. Our mgmt said it themselves. It's no secret. They will be changing out everything to JetBlue product, expanding their footprint.
That's why they ensure they used the word "acquire". They never gave anyone the idea that B6 was gonna use NK product.

I thought you were trying to make a case that B6 had "...NO interest in spirit product"? As if it was something B6 was hiding.

Since you change that point, as a pilot, can you even control what the company want to set their ticket price at? Let's not pretend that's a big ticket item on our list now. All of a sudden we all care about our precious consumers wallet. (Yeah I do say this knowing our own family are consumers too) Mgmt make their money and go home, you do the same. Telling a bunch of pilots that on a pilot forum doesn't change anything.

Our interest as pilots are to make a lot of money with very little effort and enjoy QOL, however that comes. (Merger, JCBA, etc)

How can Apple possibly be successful if they aren't selling the cheapest devices on the market? Surely Audi is on the verge of going out of business, as they don't sell the cheapest cars. Don't get me started on Whole Foods and their high priced groceries, that place will be closing any day...
