Default 191 election

I hope we ALL vote! On the FO side, I personally know Royce and Aric. Both are solid guys that will kill themselves to do a great job for the pilot group. They got my vote and it was an easy decision. I hear the other two were good choices as well. I’m glad guys are willing to step up and do this mostly thankless work…

Personally, I didn’t know the CAs.

Feel free to expound on your choice……

Royce is a good dude but is he too involved with the company/hiring to give us a good fight when we need it aka all the time.

i hear you. He’s been very involved in Vets in Blue and pilot hiring but trust me as a vet that benefited, this isn’t a negative. He’s extremely “pro union”. Admittedly more so than I’ve been. Dude has commuted on days off to pub events not in base just to talk to his reps face to face. Went to the picket. Calls his reps vs whining and speculating online to get the real deal. He’s legit and more active than most of us that are honestly too lethargic. Not being argumentative but you’re just wrong on that point. Him being active in pilot recruiting is a good thing. And he’s NO “company man”.

I have known Royce for 11 years we were new hire sim partners. I have talked with him about all kinds of stuff and while he does do recruiting he is not afraid to tell the truth and also about ALPA.

If you want a guy who thinks about pilots first it’s him.

Ill put it this way he is a JetBlue guy not a JetBlue management guy, I think most of us are in the same place. We still like the idea of JetBlue just not how it is run.

I’m voting for DV. I liked his letter and others that I trust speak very highly of him. Haven’t decided for captain rep yet. I’m just happy to see we have a lot of good candidates.

Being an LEC rep requires a lot of energy and dedication to the pilot group. Royce has both of these in spades and I can’t think of any better candidate. I know him personally and to echo Payne’s comments Royce is not afraid to go against the grain and voice his opinion to do what is right.

Disagree! He's a lazy turd of a pilot. Watch's soap opera's all day with his cat. First thing he needs to do is get off the couch.

Just kidding. Everything you say is spot on. I hope he gets it.

I used to believe this at one point, and maybe at one point in the past it had a shred of truth, or maybe not.

I have since got to know Royce very well, and I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. He is a very strong PILOT advocate, who wants to take advantage of the current climate to maximize pilot pay/benefits/work rules to the top of industry.

Same. I’ve known Royce for a good while now. The man would be gold in any position, we are fortunate he’s looking for a union one.
