Makes more sense that the Alaska buy out of Virgin. THAT clearly WAS restraint of trade, buying out a competitor, then getting rid of all their aircraft (Proudly an all Boeing fleet) and forcing a transcontinental commute on enough of their pilots that they lost many of them. And paid out $2.6 billion for an aircraft fleet of only 67 with another 35 or so on order (which they cancelled).

Bingo, thank you RLA!! My buddy at Delta sits on reserve for LAX at his home in LAS and can always grab a flight and make it in time to LAX for their reserve callout..

That is the summary. Plenty of PAX. Need more pilots (even mechanics, etc) and more airplanes. In some airports, need more gates.
