Sure. None of it scheduled, though.

Scheduled meaning what? Primary versus a secondary pairing? In the end all that matters is what you’ve flown.

I have zero desire to fly wide body to be honest, and already in ATL on the bus. I would obviously try to get back to ATL with delta but hey, Im already here. I know the merger will throw a wrench in things, but current upgrade here at spirit is 3 years. I'm sure the merger will slow things down though. So assuming the merger goes through... Im already in base, on a plane I like, potentially staring at captain upgrade in the nearish future. I've looked at the new JB rates compared to DAL and they are pretty close across the board. Is there something I'm missing? I don't foresee JB wanting to close the ATL base. I think a combined spirit/JB will be a great airline in the future and can easily see them becoming the "new" southwest despite their grand aspirations of competing with a legacy. I don't know much about JB retirements and am uncertain what my seniority would look like at a combined company at retirement.
not sure why this is even a debate… go to the airline with a mega hub of your hometown, or stay at a place where your base might go away…

^^^^^…..that. If you have relative seniority and DGAS about the 4 stripe like myself, you can do very well here.

Top 10% FO in base, pair bid with and get check airman trips. 2/3 of my 80 something credit awarded line is usually cleaned out, paid every month freeing me to VDA the rest. Operation melts down, cash in… 120 hr credit months are common with 50-60 block. I work a total of 10-12 days and make more than 1/2 of the captains I fly with that barely have the number of days off that I work.

not so sure about that. Combined we'll be over 7000 pilots. Then we have to account for staffing the airframes on order (maybe half of the orders if not more account for growth).
