Any reserve drops will need to take that into consideration. Im 100% for reserve drops BUT JBLU guys need to also understand that when you have reserve guys dropping days, the grid will go red.

So this will all need to be worked out to respect the guys on reserve while also respecting seniority to drop trips as well.

We know that, and part of the reason we have known all along this DTZ won't be the utopia being sold to us. We won't allow reserves to be bared from dropping and swapping their days. At JB reserve is spread all across the seniority list, not just something the junior guys have to survive. I'm not sure there is a way to bridge that gap. Current JB book is for RSVs to be able to drop and swap their days in FLICA, in seniority order at first, and then FCFS. And I don't see that changing, and don't think it should. The result of that is something we will all have to accept and come to terms with.

Are you implying that Chimpy's checkerboarding harmed your ability to drop a 4-day??? 😬

If the combined airline has 75% of days in the green, we'll need a third of the pilot group on RSV.

We better strive for excellent reserve rules in the JCBA because - without knowing where you fall on the SLI - many of us could find ourselves on RSV.

And maybe for a longer amount of time than what most would expect.
