Or drop it all and only work %200.

Aren't you the guys who are always bragging that you're premium is more equitable? I actually prefer that system, but don't you have to wait your turn mostly? Or are you seriously claiming that everyone in your pilot group can just do nothing but fly premium all the time?

No spirit pilot flies for straight time. Most of them don’t even fly. They usually just drop their whole schedule and make more than everyone else. Occasionally guys will pick up 200%, but only morning turns and only Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays since nobody flies on weekends or days that touch weekends at spirit. That’s why working there is so great and their attrition is non-existent.

You're right. Just roll b6's contract over to the new entity.

You'll never miss DTZ if you've never had it.

I can tell you're being sarcastic but the last part is at least factually accurate. It is impossible to miss something you've never had.

I don't think any B6 pilot actively wants dropped zero to go away, I think it's just a little funny how the Spirit group has decided that contractually "And I also say to you that you are DTZ and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of B6ALPA shall not prevail against it." "

Spoken like a man who's never had DTZ.

I'm a low tier pilot. I don't have much. So yes, I'll die on the DTZ Hill.

I guess that's true. I've never had it, and yet after all these months on this forum, I just don't think the spirit pilot group has done a very good job selling us on their contract. I hope everything works out for everyone, but when all said and done it might feel a little bit like General Custer's last stand on that hill.

I don't have much of a care either way. There's other contractual things that are much, much more important. You'll like them, trust me.

I hope you're right.

Look, Spirit simply doesn't offer much. We have scheduling flexibility. That's it. It's all tied to the grid and DTZ.

I understand I'm going to lose this fight. Doesn't mean I have to like it.

I think what we can all take away from these discussions is both sides do have great pieces of their respective CBAs that they aren't willing to let go of. That means everything is important and there will not be any tolerating "Subgroup X needs to suck it up so Y can have something" mentality.
