He obviously misses something, he’s on this side of the forum like he still works here.

Best case scenario, until they decide to get widebodies, is the 321XLR. If that cannot do the job reliably then nothing for FLL/MCO until widebodies. For now, I expect most LR/XLR will be used to fill out JFK and BOS to Europe(XLR going deeper into Europe). From the pocket sessions over the last year, it seems there are a good amount more European destinations that they want to fly to from the N.E.

This is probably not worth mentioning since it all will turn out to be dangling carrots, but a couple pocket sessions ago, Robin said(yes I know) if the merger went through then widebodies would be pushed to 7-9 years from now, if merger fails then about 2 to 3 years. Now Robin is leaving so that plan will probably leave with him. He loves his widebodies.

It changed from Joanna face palming whenever the widebody question came up, to her willingly passing the baton to Robin to openly talk about it. I'm not so sure the widebody idea goes out of the window with robin gone.

Hopefully not. I'm not really interested in the long-haul stuff but it's good for the folks that want to and for the company to expand. I guess it helps me too because pilots senior to me in my base will probably jump on it, giving me better seniority in base. Win Win Win

We’re not even close to being ready for widebodies though. We don’t have enough feed to support it at the moment. You can have a day or two in a week with only 10 mint seats filled on a 321, but that’ll kill you on a wide body. Also, if they’re gonna try widebodies, they will need to bring back their cargo department.

Good tips. Clearly I have some more thinking to do - I forgot all about the hats.
