so now i have to take my jacket with me year round and check the weather every day everywhere i go? i'm struggling to see how this is an improvement. i hate wearing the jacket pretty much ever, but this isn't making anything any better as far as i can see, unless all you do is fly to the tropics all the time.

Well that's good news. Though the doomers on here will find a way to spin it as him buying shares is bad but also him selling shares is bad.

I guess it means he doesn't think the airline is worth buying and parting out.

It also means he doesn't see the intact airline being worth anything in the future.

And he loses 1 board seat:

If at any time the Icahn Group ceases collectively to beneficially own at least 20,356,619 shares of common stock, $0.01 par value per share, of the Company (“Common Stock”), which number of shares is subject to adjustment in certain circumstances as described in the Agreement, then the Icahn Group shall cause one Icahn Designee (or replacement designee, as applicable) to promptly resign from the Board and any committee of the Board on which he or she then sits. If the Icahn Group ceases collectively to beneficially own at least 10,178,309 shares of Common Stock, which number of shares is subject to adjustment in certain circumstances as described in the Agreement, then the Icahn Group shall cause each Icahn Designee (or replacement designee, as applicable) to promptly resign from the Board and any committee of the Board on which he or she then sits.
