When is enough going to be enough? I'm sick of hearing Blue Watch say it's fine when it just isn't. That flight attendant was inches from getting their head blown off. It could just as easily been a one of us. I'm pretty sure these shootings have been coming from the same area, and we need to at the very least stop flying approaches/departures over that area. If the winds don't support that then we don't go. Either that or we get Kevlar floor liners, flack jackets and helmets.

I was one of the guys campaigning for ban on Georgetown, Guyana overnights......obviously they couldn't make it a day trip (block) or even work down DH back (contract duty) but something like DH offline to like Aruba, Port of Espain, or Cartagena....I don't know something other than putting crews safety at risk. As pointed out this doesn't seem like the first time.......how as the PIC can we really say the flight can be conducted safely.
