No, you have to make it published from anyone other than "View From the Wing" to make people pay attention. That guy writes attrocious articles.

Whatever M&A happens, I sincerely hope that Jetblue pilots don't have their time wasted for two years.

That would be...terrible

The worlds largest carrier buying another mid sized carrier? That seems like a stretch....even for a Trump admin. Elizabeth Warren woulda have a stroke at the mere mention of it 😀

I tend to agree with this. And even putting the regulatory hurdles aside I can't imagine DL sitting idle watching UA get a lot bigger through M&A. They would throw a fit and lobby hard against it.

I'm leaning towards a UA/JB NEA-type agreement where UA puts code on BOS/JFK/FLL flying and we can codeshare from IAD/EWR, possibly west coast. I wouldnt be surprised to see UA take a small equity stake in JB. I can't find anything prohibiting this in the UA CBA but maybe someone can point out where this wouldnt be allowed.

As they say better lucky than good any day.

I bought a bunch of JBLU around the $6 range after the earnings debacle and this morning the stock price is popping on exceptionally high volume . . . I have zero idea why but it sure makes one go - hmmmm???

To be fair, it was good buy opportunity. I think there may have been a lot of algorithmic sell off?? There was a discussion about call options on here....great opportunity to make a good profit off this dip.

Says the guy who was telling pilots to sell their house and go all in on JBLU when it was $10-12 and predicting it would go to $22 by now. You're like the guy who only talks about when he wins at the casino.

She's down about four votes. Throwing a fit won't help.

If your goal was to try and annoy me, bravo you have succeeded. Hope that makes you feel better about yourself.

You are correct I did say that initially, but since then I have said a great deal more since information on stocks changes minute by minute, but you go ahead and focus on the one bad point if that makes you feel better.

For the record I maintain a group on the old folks social media website called get rich slowly where I outline my trades. I have been quite lucky and grown my portfolio by over 22% per year since Jan 1, 2008 so no I'm not like the guy who only talks when I win. I actually do win . . . a lot of the time. For the record I have Stage IV rectal cancer so a little less internet rudeness would be much appreciated jerk.
