JetForward is not a plan. It's airline 101 stuff. This management has done some things well, but they are still reactionary and lack any sort of real vision.
However you can’t really have some big grand future vision if you are just trying to get the water out of the boat. Hayes had some grand vision for us how did that work out? It got us right here. Honestly I want them to be boring right now. Focus on getting the airline running better. (If) they can do that. I mean I have all kinds of visions about some really cool family vacation than reality hits after I try to put the last kid in a car seat and I’m ready to do a loop around the block and call it a day. :) |

I stand corrected. Shrinking to profitability and tapping into tertiary NE markets is the vision.

The Trump administration on Tuesday said it will keep using strict guidelines adopted by the administration of former President Joe Biden to review proposed corporate mergers. I thought this new administration was suppose to be easy on mergers according to everybody???? |

I mean...let's discuss...what would you suggest right now, not past actions, but right now on what to do that wouldn't cost as much or more than the "plan" right now? Serious question.
The traveling public doesn't chose Jetblue because they know they wont get to their vacations, weddings, business meetings on-time or at all. The corporate mentality of Jetblue has been the same since the beginning. The traveling public will choose the snacks, TV's, WiFi over everything else. Well, the public has spoken and since they can get the affore mentioned elsewhere AND arrive on time, consistently, they choose carrier B. The uphill battle is multifaceted. Change the corporate mentality which is incredibly difficult and convince the traveling public which is even more difficult. In the past, you could charge less and convince people to give you a chance. We all charge the same and they do it better so let me ask ya'll why would you come back? |

All JetForward is accomplishing is what Neeleman, Barger and Hayes refused to do which is focus on being on-time. Prioritize on-time. Transport a ****ing passenger ON-TIME!!!

ok. I'll ask you too. How would you do it right now? With specifics. Not general statements and keeping cost in mind. Leave past criticism out of it, you're running the show.
