The Southwest Pilots agree.
If we have profit sharing that only goes into 401K it will be very difficult to make the case that we need an additional 3% in matching.
Profit sharing and options will be used to head off serious discussions about pay and retirement enhancements.
I'm a little angry that I keep hearing from the principles about how well we are going to do on our options. We talk about pay and someone always brings up options. Any discussion about options should be based on the crewmember with the highest strike price in the company.
