Mr. Baba Bluey sir, I don't have any intention to insult your character or debate you on any issue including JB. If you are comfortable with the status quo at JB and feel comfortable with your future, I wish you well. Concessions that CAL pilots took and whatever "Gordo" left with has little to do with where JB is heading. If you feel comfortable and compelled to take a shot at CAL pilots and it makes you feel better please feel free to do so. I have said all I will say about JB and I truly apologize if I have insulted anybody personally. Fly safe and I hope Mr. Neeleman fulfills all your hopes and dreams.

More lectures from CAL pilots. CAL the airline that brought scabs to good standing in ALPA. You must be so proud. CAL the airline that filed bankruptcy twice and set the gold standard in negating union contracts. You must be soo proud. CAL the airline that had the same pay on a DC-9 as well as a 747. You must be sooo proud. CAL the lowest paid pilots in the industry for years. You must be soooo proud. CAL the airline that turned out Frank Lorenzo, Stephen Wolf, Dave Siegal, and Johnathan Ornstien. You must be soooo proud. I would venture to guess that many many many of us at JetBlue have paid ALPA dues longer than you. Crawl back in your hole. Good day.

it seems to me that CAL started at the bottom and moved up. JB started next to the bottom and moved down. what does that say about you?

Actually there has been a 30% raise since the start of JetBlue. What percentage was your latest paycut? Have the clams Bill and ****.

Umm, in all fairness the JB starting pay back in '99 was nothing to brag about; in fact the 'pay raise' in 2001 was nothing to brag about at the time (our Captain pay is below what most narrow body F/O's earned at the time of the raise.) The industry imploded down to our level so our 'success' is a rather hollow victory indeed. We have MANY things to be proud about at JetBlue, our total compenation is not one of them regardless of the impressive percentage pay raises in the past.

FWIW, our debt load and profits (or lack thereof) put us in a position curiously similar to the legacy carriers on the morning of 9/11; not that our fate will be similar, only that we have a looong way to go before our long-term success is assured so we are in no position to throw stones. (Something about guys in glass houses....)

Well the fact is there was a 30% raise. You wouldn't know because you don't work here. Like most things about other carriers you don't KNOW do you Bill? Go along now and thanks for bringing scabs to ALPA. How much was your paycut?

I have to agree with Bluechunks here. We are a loooooong way away from bragging about what we have or have not gotten. I think usually claims like this are better left for our respective retirememnt parties. That's over two decades away for me! Let's just look forward to toasting about it then, and hope JB is still written on the door when we lift the glass in toast.

Respectfully,

It is disappointing that you have chosen the low road in this forum. I never insulted you, in fact I have consistently wished my JB brothers well. My only comments have been my opinion on where management is taking a good company. To lecture me about SCABS is off base. I am not one, never supported one and will continue to discourage others from going there. As for competing with you or anyone else with respect to ALPA longevity - what's your point? Perhaps you need to redirect your rage and ranting somewhere it will do some good and leave the personal issues out of it.

all together now! "l. ron! l. ron! l. ron!"

if you think CAL is the only airline with scabs in alpa membership, you are dumber than you appear which is no small feat. and speaking of scabs, why do YOU care what alpa does? you can't even get together on the jb pilot/management association. remember, l. ron loves you and you don't need a union anyway, things are so good there.

enjoy your next 5 years--and your next 5 years--and your next 5 years...
