Not really. My Father flew for CAL. It didn't start at the bottom. It was at the very top and was a great airline until Lorenzo showed up. Then it went to the bottom and has slowly been climbing ever since.

I was at a competitor and I remember the Continental before Lorenzo. Indeed, it was a very classy airline.

Ahh Yes, I remember...the "Proud Bird with the Golden tail!"....................
In the 70's Continental was the premier place to work.......................
They also have a pretty good product now..............in today environment
